Making A Purchase Making a purchase from Mr Punch's Old Toys' website couldn't be easier. Just use the five small icons at the top of the home page to navigate your way around the site. The site map displays an alphabetical list of all the toy categories represented on the website eg 'novelty toys'. Some of these are then divided into sub-categories eg ' wind-up'. Click on the categories of interest to you and a description, price and small photograph of each toy in that category will appear. If you would like to see a larger picture, simply click on the image and one will load. To order a toy, just click on the 'add to basket' icon at the end of each description. When you have completed your selection, click on the 'view basket' icon on the home page for a list of ordered items. If you change your mind, click on the relevant 'remove' button and that toy will be removed from your basket. Click on 'return to catalog' and select the 'email order' icon. This will generate an order form for you. Please note that highlighted fields must be completed. Click on 'done' and your order will be emailed to us. We will respond with details of postage and packing charges.

Shipping And Handling We will email you with details of packing and posting charges once we have received your order. If the toy you have ordered is immediately accessible, you will normally receive these details within 24 hours. If your toy happens to be on display at the Portobello Road Antique Market in London, it may take a little longer. Packing and posting are charged to the buyer at cost. No handling charges are levied. We take extreme care with our packing, and use export quality packing materials and insured mail services to ensure that the items arrive in the same condition as they leave. Our normal method of despatch is insured air mail. Items posted by this method usually arrive at European destinations within five working days and at destinations outside Europe within seven to ten days. For toys that are heavy relative to their value or at the buyer's request, we use surface mail. This takes two weeks to Europe and from between eight and 12 weeks for the rest of the world. For heavy items that exceed the two kilogram limit for air and surface mail, we use Parcelforce services.

Delivery Schedule Our delivery schedule depends both on the method of payment and on the physical location of the item selected. Credit card orders can be processed within 24 to 48 hours (allowing for the difference in world time zones) assuming that the item is not on display in the Portobello Road Antique Market in London. We do not debit credit cards until the item is ready for shipment. If you pay by any of our accepted cheque methods (see 'Remittance Terms'), we will send your toy as soon as the funds have cleared.

All credit card payments are processed in pounds sterling, and the dollar prices shown on the website are for general guidance only, and are subject to the prevailing exchange rate on the day on which the transaction is processed. If a toy is old and/or rare, condition becomes a secondary consideration. We do not give a numerical grading as we consider that this is subject to the personal bias of the person grading the toy and, therefore, the personal misinterpretation of the potential buyer.
