1960s Miniature Plastic Massey Harris Tractor

Described on the top of the perspex case as 'the glass case series', this great little Massey Harris tractor comes complete with its own display case. Take the perspex case off and you can see how good the detailing of this miniature plastic model is. Measuring just 1.5" long, the tractor was made in Hong Kong in the 1960s. (*) US$20.00

1940s LBZ Tin W/U Farm Conveyor Belt

This chain-driven clockwork agricultural conveyor belt toy has an adjustable conveyor. The toy measures 15" long and 8" high at its highest point (when raised). The toy is made of green tinplate with red tinplate wheels and has a rubber conveyor belt. The rubber conveyor belt appears to be a replacement, but it works well and the toy is in full working order. It is in good condition overall and is stamped LBZ on one side and 'Made in Germany, US Zone' on the other side. This is generally accepted to mean that the dates of manufacture were between 1948 and 1952. Lorenz Bolz founded the firm of LBZ in Zirndorf in Germany in 1875. In 1913 they developed the pump action spinning top and they are still one of the leading humming top manufacturers in the world today. This is an unusual large-scale tinplate farm accessory from a manufacturer that is better known for their spinning tops. (WR) US$36.00
