| 1960s Tri-ang Spot-On Gift Sets Plastic Figures (3)(Reference #06-3-10a) These three plastic figures used to be owned by a worker in the Spot-On factory in Belfast and have never been played with by children. They were originally included with the Spot-On gift sets produced by Tri-ang in the 1960s. The figures measure approximately 2" tall and represent a policeman, a civilian, and an airline pilot. The policeman may suffer from a factory fault as he is not grasping a truncheon in his right hand, as he usually does. Apart from this, all three figures are in absolutely excellent condition. If you own the gift sets without the figures, then here's your chance to significantly enhance their value. (#) US$30.00

1930s English Charbens Lead Racing Car(Reference #01-10-03r)
This delightful, small (2" long), lead racing car, with diecast wheels, was made in the pre-WWII period by either CHARBENS or possibly TAYLOR & BARRETT. It is in good condition for its age with only average paint loss, mostly to the rear of the cockpit. There are also some tiny remnants of green over-painting to two of the wheels. One front wheel is also loose, and would probably not survive too much furious use, before becoming detached from its axle.

| 1957 Crescent Boxed 1291 Aston Martin DB 3S Racing Car(Reference #05-9-42) Crescent made their No 1291 ASTON MARTIN D.B.3.S. 2.5 LITRE SPORTS RACING CAR between 1957 and 1960, and this is a very good example of it. The car is in very good condition overall, with intact racing numbers, but a slightly grubby appearance to the upper bodywork. The only other slight fault is some rust tarnishing to the end of one rear axle. The most attractively illustrated box has one end flap detached, and has small neat biro markings to one side stating "1291 Aston Martin", and "1291" to one of the two pictorial sides. However, boxed Crescent racing cars are not easy to find, and if you are a connoisseur of the ASTON MARTIN marque, this is a fine model to add to your collection. (#) US$300.00

1960s Boxed Schuco Diecast W/U Micro-Racer(Reference #04-5-02mr) Made by Schuco of Germany from 1962 onwards, this delightful go-kart (3.5" long) formed part of the company's range of Micro-Racers. Made of high-quality diecast zinc, these vehicles were equipped with rubber tyres and shock absorbers. According to the publicity material of the time, the Micro-Racers were not only the 'fastest clockwork-drive cars in the world', they also benefited from some novel features. The micro-setting of the steering and the patent free-wheel mechanism enable the vehicle to be guided exactly to a pre-determined point while, by switching the motor on and using the clutch lever, you can also achieve fast standing starts. The go-kart is in full working order and mint and boxed condition, as it is old shop stock. The toy is complete with an original Schuco key. This is probably the most difficult of all the Micro-Racers to track down, so don't miss this opportunity to acquire one now. (WR) US$220.00

1964 UK Lone Star No 1478 Rambler V8 Ambulance(Reference #04-5-88)
Made in England by LONE STAR in 1964, in their ROADMASTER SERIES this is a nicely detailed model of a RAMBLER STATION WAGON with a REBEL V8 ENGINE. It measures 3.75" long, is made to a scale of 1:50, and is in AMBULANCE livery. The overall condition is very near excellent, apart from two slight paint chips to the roof, and one to a rear tailfin. None of the LONE STAR ROADMASTER SERIES is common, and if your interest lies in AMBULANCES or the RAMBLER marque, then this rare model would greatly enhance any collection.

| 1960 French Rami Diecast 1907 Renault Taxi(Reference #6-5-156) The French company of JMK made this diecast model of a1907 RENAULT TAXI de la MARNE in the 1960s. The model is 3.25 inches long, and is in good condition with only very minor paint chips. It is marked on the bottom with both the name of the vehicle and the manufacturer. The Renault should have two side lamps, but these are both missing. The only other point of note is that one rear mudguard is higher than the other, but this is clearly in the original manufacture, so perhaps it is meant to be that way. The toy is supplied with an original leaflet showing all 20 veteran cars in the series. (J) US$20.00

1920s English Miniature Diecast Charabanc(Reference #02-2-7) Measuring only 2" long and made entirely of metal, this exquisite little model of a charabanc is of unknown origin. The toy bears no markings whatsoever, but was made in the 1920s when such vehicles were in common use for large outings of family and friends to either the seaside or a day at the races. The motor coach is largely undamaged, apart from a small pinhole in the folded hood section at the rear (this hole is invisible from the side view). The condition of the paintwork, though chipped to most surfaces, does not detract from the overall appearance of this delightful model charabanc. (50 #) US$80.00
