1950s Wood 'O' Gauge Glasgow Central Station(Reference #8-10-33)
Made in England in the 1950s, this wooden station represents Glasgow Central. It measures just over 23 inches long. The station has a paper label stating its name as well as two tinplate advertising signs: one for the News of the World newspaper and the other for Wills's Woodbine cigarettes. A second paper label bears the maker's name, but this is torn. The station suffers from some age-related wear and tear, but is in overall acceptable condition for its age. (J) US$20.00

1930s Brass O Gauge W/U Tank Loco 1930s Brass O Gauge W/U Tank Loco(Reference #10-7-3)
This unusual loco measures 6.5 inches long and 3.25 inches high. It may be scratch-built based on commercially produced elements. It seems to be made of a heavy gauge brass, which means that it is disproportionately heavy for its size (please ask for a postage estimate, if interested). The loco is in playworn condition, has the remnants of a transferred No 2512 to the sides and front of the boiler, and has a lump broken from the rear of the funnel. We cannot tell whether it ever had pistons, but our opinion is that it did not. It needs a very large bore key to operate it (please note that this is not supplied); currently, the loco winds up, but does not work. However, from an inspection of the underneath, all the cogs seem to be undamaged, and the very large spring does not appear to be broken. The scale is at least O gauge, but may be somewhat larger. In conclusion, this locomotive has a nice chunky feel and appearance to it and someone out there is bound to be able to shed more light on its origin. (J) US$98.00

1950s Hornby Tinplate O Gauge Level Crossing(Reference #6-8-209)
Made by Hornby of England in the 1950s, this tinplate level crossing with barred gates that fit into holes in the base in both the open and closed positions measures 9.5 inches by 5 inches. Apart from some marking to the inner section of the central rail, it is in excellent condition and would make a fine addition to any O gauge lay-out. (WR) US$30.00

Price: £15.00

1920s English Lithographed Tin Railway Tunnel 1920s English Lithographed Tin Railway Tunnel(Reference #9-12-06bb)
Made in England in the 1920s, this delightfully lithographed tinplate railway tunnel measures 4.5 inches high by almost 7 inches long. The two sides of the tunnel are printed differently: one shows a petrol station on a winding road with an interesting selection of vehicles on the road; the other shows the sun setting over a rural scene with farm, windmill, village pub, and cars crossing the bridge over a river. The tunnel is playworn, suffering from some marking and scratching, and the original child owner (Peter) has also scratched his name on the top of the tunnel. The underneath of the top seam also shows signs of soldering. Overall, though, it has an attractive patina of age and would certainly grace any railway lay-out of the correct gauge. (WR) US$24.00

1932 Dinky O Gauge Railway Figures (5)(Reference #5-9-510)
These five die cast figures were all made by Dinky Toys in the years 1932 to 1939/41 and measure approximately 1.5" high. They are all the larger versions of these figures. They comprise porter with case and hatbox, greaser, storekeeper, female hiker, and woman with child on right, all of which are in good condition. All the figures have some slight paint chips, mainly to insignificant parts, not readily visible. These railway personnel were made to people Hornby train layouts, and they remain ideal for that purpose today. If your model railway station looks abandoned, then bring it to life with this assortment of characters. (WR) US$ 220.00

Boxed Trix Twin Curved Rails with Bakelite Bases Boxed Trix Twin Curved Rails with Bakelite Bases(Reference #5-5-61)
Made in England, probably in the 1930s, these six curved rails are mounted on bakelite bases for use with the Trix Twin railway system. The rails are in good condition and appear to be complete with all their connectors. One rail, however, does have broken areas of bakelite at each end of its inner curve which would not seem to affect its effectiveness as a rail. The box, though slightly torn and crushed, does have all its side and end flaps. (#) US$20.00
