This charming miniature toy food mixer (5.5 inches long) is unusual in that it is marked with a maker's name (A&J), an item number (no 68), and a patent date (9 October, 1923). Made in France in the 1960s, this tinplate child's sewing machine stands 8 inches high. It is in very good condition for its age, and is in full working order. The machine is complete with the most delightful pull-out plastic drawer at the front. It also has a plastic handle. It would make an unusual addition to any collection of miniature sewing machines. 1950s German Steel/Tin Child's Sewing Machine

Made in the US Zone of Germany between 1948 and 1952, this pressed steel and tinplate child's sewing machine measures 8 inches long and 4.5 inches wide. It is marked BERLIN on the baseplate and also has the remnants of a decal that might once have read MIELY. It is in full working order and reasonable condition for its vintage, although it does suffer from loss of paint to the front and top sections of the machine. However, this is not serious enough to detract from the overall appeal of this piece of vintage sewing machine memorabilia.
