1930 English Composition Doll's Head - Painted Features 1930 English Composition Doll's Head - Painted Features(Reference #02-10-04d)
Dating from the immediate pre-war period, this composition doll's head is marked G and ENGLAND. It has moulded hair, and the most delightfully painted facial features including two front teeth positioned on the top lip. The head measures approximately 4" at its widest part, and the neck opening measures 2.5" in diameter. There is a hole in the composition on either side of the neck so that the head can be sewn onto the cloth bodies that were popular at this period. There are no chips or cracks to the head, just very minor paint loss to the hair, and slight marking to the right cheek. (WR) US$20.00

1940s English Composition Doll's Head - Sleep Eyes(Reference #8-5-36)
Dating from the immediate post-war period, this composition doll's head is marked FP23c, and has moulded hair, plastic sleep eyes, and an open mouth with teeth. The head measures approximately 4.5" at its widest part, and the neck opening measures just under 2.5" in diameter. The head is in essentially sound condition, although there is a moulding flaw to the top of the head, slight wear to the back of the head, and a tiny chip to the base of the neck. However, if you've got a 1940s pot-headed doll without a head, then this could well be the item for you. (WR) US$20.00
