1935 UK Dinky Tinplate No 45 Garage(Reference #04-5-144)
DINKY TOYS produced their all tinplate No 45 GARAGE in the pre-war period only, between 1935 and 1940. This example is in playworn but acceptable condition, and would display well with DINKY cars of the same age. Its dimensions are 5" by 3.5", with an overall height of 3". The lithography is generally undamaged, apart from some marking to the roof and silvering of the windows. The often-missing door catch is still extant on this example, and locks the doors as it should. The garage has become a hard to find item, and although not in perfect condition, this one is still an attractive proposition in which to garage those pre- or just post-war DINKY cars. (#) US$390.00

1946 French Dinky Auto Union to Restore 1946 French Dinky Auto Union to Restore(Reference #02-7-7)
This French factory Dinky Auto Union was made in the period 1946 to 1950, and is in structurally sound condition. It measures 4" long, and would benefit from a complete respray, as it has clearly been repainted before, and none too well at that. There is no fatigue to the model, and the only other matters to mention are that the front part of the tinplate base is missing from underneath the front wheels, and one rear tyre is flat. The Auto Union is marked "Fabrique en France par Meccano" on the base plate. If you like French factory Dinky, and enjoy the challenge of restoration, then here's your chance.

This superior model of an amphibious DUKW originates from the Dinky Toys French factory, and measures 6.75" long. It is in generally good condition, with only minor paint loss mainly to the raised edges. There is no damage to the plastic interior, but the propeller has one broken blade, although this fault cannot be detected until the toy is picked up. This DUKW is decidedly superior to the one in the English Dinky range, and should therefore be of interest to all collectors of military diecast. (200 *) US$78.00

1934 - 40 Dinky Toys Cunard Britannic No 51g(Reference #01-10-01c)
This Dinky Toy number 51g, Cunard Britannic White Star liner, measures nearly 5" long. The model shows signs of metal fatigue and has visible cracks to both sides of the hull and slight distortion such that the ship does not sit quite flat to the surface. The fatigue is apparently stable. Dinky toys such as this one are rare items in unfatigued condition; this example could therefore serve as a memo collectable until such time as a better example can be found. (*) US$20.00

1952 - 1954 Boxed Dinky 282 Roadmaster Coach 1952 - 1954 Boxed Dinky 282 Roadmaster Coach(Reference #00-12-48)
This is a good condition boxed Duple Roadmaster coach only made between 1952 and 1954 and measuring 4.75" long. The coach is in good condition overall, apart from two small scratches, one to the side of the roof and one to the front of the roof (above the windscreen), and a small paint chip to a rear side window. Although the box is complete with all side and end flaps (one of which has a tape reinforcement on the inside), it does suffer from some scuffing to the edges.

Pre-war Dinky Ammunition/ Water Tank Trailers(Reference #5-6-a30)
These two early Dinky military items from the immediate pre-war years are both in the hard to find category. Dinky made the ammunition trailer (162b) from 1939 to 1940. It has a gloss green body and green baseplate, drawbar and hook. The trailer measures 2" long, is in good condition, and has no metal fatigue or cracking to the body, other than to one wheel hub. The towing hook is complete, but there is considerable paint loss and the tyres are cracked and flat. The water tank trailer (151d) had a longer production run (from 1937 until 1948). This model lacks its tyres, has a broken and partially missing drawbar and does suffer from paint loss and cracking to the back and wheel hubs. This item is not in good condition, but would serve as a memorandum model until a better one could be found. (WR) US$40.00

Price: £20.00
