Simply marked with the MARX Toys logo, this plastic cowboy belt was probably once part of a larger set that included a toy gun and plastic bullets. Nevertheless, what we have left here will still be of interest to all you cowboy collectors out there. The belt has a tinplate buckle that is attractively etched with floral designs and includes a holster section with plastic gun bracket and thigh strap, as well as ten bullet holders. It also has an extending strap so that it can fit four different sizes of child. At its longest, the belt measures 34.5" long. It is in very good condition for its age, with only minor age-related marking to the buckle and some scratching to the holes section of the belt. (WR) US$20.00

|  | 1930s Boxed French Tin Cork-Firing Pistol(Reference #03-9-36)
Made by JEP (Jouets de Paris) of France in the 1930s, this exquisite little pistol measures 4.5 inches long and is made of tinplate. Called Bombarde (mortar), it was originally supplied with a detonating cork. Not surprisingly, this is now missing, but the gun does still have its original box which is complete and intact, although it has come unstuck. The pistol is in full working order and only suffers from minor scuffing. The box suffers from staining and grubbiness. | 1960s Hong Kong Victor Plastic Water Gun(Reference #5-8-106)
Still contained in its original packet, this plastic water pistol measures 4" long, and was made in Hong Kong in the 1960s. It is old shop stock, and there is therefore no reason to suppose that it does not still work. The most interesting aspect of this toy to the contemporary collector is the artwork on the header card. This depicts, in graphic detail, a man about to stab a woman in the back, with an unseen figure pointing a gun at his head. The header card is marked "VICTOR WATER GUN", and "it's a mak's production". This is a nostalgic reminder of those long gone days when water pistols weren't all three feet long and called "supersoakers". US$20.00
