Offered here is the parachute pack and reserve parachute pack from set no 34121. The parachute, cords, harness, and reserve pack are all in good condition and complete. The plastic hinged back of the parachute pack is, however, missing (one jump too many) as it was only ever attached by a folded plastic hinge, and this wears and becomes detached with use. It is, alas, now lost; in all other respects, though, this is a very good condition example of the parachute pack and harness. (WR) US$24.00

This clothing fits the 12" Action Man/GI Joe dolls. The three pieces of the Russian Infantryman outfit (34112) comprise the jacket, trousers, and astrakhan fur-lined hat with badge. All the items are in good condition, although one end of the foot-strap for the trousers needs to be sewn back into position. The jacket has a GI JOE BY HASBRO HONG KONG label in the neck. | Rare 1967 UK Palitoy GI Joe/Action Man Beach Playbase(Reference #02-10-13a)
 Palitoy in the UK made four different versions of plastic playbases for Action Man towards the end of 1967. They were produced too late in the year to be included in the 1967 catalogue and were not produced the following year. On offer here is the beachhead variant. This is made of vacuum-formed plastic and represents a shingle and sand beach with an upturned rowing boat, rocky outcrop, and a breakwater, with the sea to the bottom, and a block stone quay to the top. The base measures approximately 23" x 15.5". As you would expect, there are some small cracks to the edges and bottom of the base, all of which have been strengthened (on the underside only) with invisible tape. There are also two larger cracks to one side which have been repaired in a similar way. A long thin triangular-shaped piece has broken completely away from one corner and has likewise been restored with invisible tape on the underside and part of the top. This Action Man item always was fragile and hence not many have survived the rigours of Action Man play, making this a rare item today. The base is in good condition in all other respects, having retained its original colouring, and would display well with a complement of appropriately attired Action Man dolls.
